We
certainly wouldn't be a vital and growing Congregation without
placing our ministry and it's people in God's hands through prayer!
Our
Prayer Ministry Team meets quarterly to plan the following events:
Prayer
Chains -We
have three very active prayer chains (Day, Night, and Deacons) which
encourages folks to pray for specific needs when they happen.
Prayer
Vigil - Usually
held on the morning of the 5th Saturday of the month (whenever that
occurs). Members and friends sign-up for half hour segments of
prayer time. This is held in the chapel. Resources to
help guide your prayers are available. There is also coffee and
something lite to eat before or after your scheduled time.
Prayer
Breakfast -An
opportunity to meet for breakfast on Sunday morning, learn something
about prayer, and then to spend some time lifting up our prayers
before the Lord.
Prayer
Families - Each
Sunday, some of our members and friends are listed in the bulletin,
so that folks can pray for them in worship and during the week.
