Who is The
Marriage Course (TMC) for?
-
Any couple
that wants to work together at their relationship.
- It is for
those who have been married less than two years, or for more than thirty.
- The course
is beneficial and enjoyable for those whose marriage is already
strong. It also helps couples who are going through
difficulties. They are able to re-open communication in a
guided and constructive way.
- Some
couples who are separated or divorced have used the course as a way
of trying to get back together.
- This
course is also very helpful for engaged couples.

Although the
course is based on Christian principles, it is very suitable for
those with no Christian faith or church background. |

What's involved? |
|
The
Marriage Course begins with
a romantic dinner for two, followed by a talk. There will be time
for desert as each couple discusses the topic of the night by themselves.
Privacy as a
couple is always respected. There is NO group discussion and no
requirement to disclose anything about your relationship to anyone
else. You will be encouraged to talk to your spouse. |

What will it cost? |
|
The
Registrations fee is $12 which covers the cost of the workbook.
Please include your payment with the Registration Form (call the
church at (217) 935-6178 and request one)
There is also
a suggested weekly price of $10 per couple for dinner.
Checks can be
made out to "Clinton Presbyterian Church" (put "The
Marriage Course" in the memo line). |

When and where? |
|
Clinton
Presbyterian Church will
begin The Marriage Course on: Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 5:30 PM
in the Fellowship Hall (next to the Sanctuary on the main
floor). It will continue
for 7 weeks and conclude on March 10th. |
